I don't think I better go riding in your new car. I mean the cab is all packed up and I've got my wedding gown," Starlene said lifting her arm that was draped with her long white wedding gown. "I just paid the taxi driver to wait. I've got a brand new Ferrari and you're getting ready to marry that old man. Come on honey, just one time around the block before you tie the knot with Stanley," Vinny begged as he noticed the familiar sweet smell of her long blonde hair. "Okay, I guess a little ride around the block wouldn't hurt anything," she said as she started to get into the car. They both glanced up when they heard the slamming of a car door. A familiar man's voice called out from the limo parked across the street. "Starlene!" Stanley called out. "Oh no. Stanley's here," she said stepping out of the Ferrari. "Let me handle this honey," Vinny said. "No Vinny. Stanley and I are getting married," she said as she stood near the car door watching Stanley rushing towards them. "What is going on here Starlene?" Stanley asked. "Stanley you remember Vinny. He works for Nicole's father," she said grimacing as she said the name of the woman Stanley had an affair with years ago. "Hello," Stanley said nodding his head as his heart raced knowing that the Brooklyn born Vinny worked for Nicole's father, the mob boss in Florida. "Vinny was just showing me his car," Starlene said. "It looked like you were getting ready to leave in the car with him," Stanley said careful not to look at Vinny. "Wanna make something of it?" Vinny snapped. "I'm talking to Starlene," Stanley said never turning his attention from her. "I can see here what you're doing. You're upsetting her," Vinny said in his thick Brooklyn accent. "Come on Vinny. It's okay," Starlene said patting Vinny on the arm. "Whatever you want honey. I'm here for you Starlene. Whatever you want sweetheart," Vinny said glancing down at her voluptuous bosom in the halter top she was wearing. "I can leave Starlene if I'm interrupting you," Stanley said as his face started to turn red when he noticed people stopping to stare at the car and the three of them on the sidewalk arguing. "No, it's nothing Stanley. I've got the cab all packed and ready to come over to your house with my stuff," she said nodding towards the cab. "I can have my driver put your suitcases in my limo," Stanley said nodding towards his long white car waiting at the curb across the street. "Stanley I didn't know you were coming by. I've got my wedding gown here. You aren't supposed to see it. It's bad luck," she said as she saw him looking down at the transparent plastic bag draped over her arm with the long white gown. "I thought you might need help," Stanley said starting to take the wedding gown from her arm. "No, you can't look at the gown Stanley, it would be bad luck," she said jerking the gown away from him. "Leave her alone," Vinny said walking closer to Stanley and putting his heavy hand on the arm of Stanley's designer suit. "Oh for goodness sake," Stanley said under his breath. "It's time for you to butt out man. Can't you see the lady has made up her mind," Vinny said. "I'll leave and you do whatever you want," Stanley said noticing the way Vinny was clenching his jaws. "But Stanley," Starlene said. "I'm moving back in with you. We're supposed to get married now," she said as she watched him turn to walk away. "I don't know what you're doing Starlene," he said shaking his head as he watched Vinny slide his arm around her waist. "I know what's she's doing. She ain't going to be left at the altar again. I can tell you that much," Vinny said as he opened the passenger door of his new red Ferrari for Starlene. "Get in honey," he said as people whispered on the sidewalk of Bleecker Street.
