Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday July 5th 2004
"Starlene, do you want to take your CD's over to Stanley's house?"  Tiffany asked as she stood in her sister's bedroom helping her pack up to move.
"No, I can come back for them later.  Besides I can tell you and Skeeter have been enjoying them," she said. She remembered the evenings she had come home late and caught Tiffany and her ex-husband Skeeter listening to her music in the dimly lit apartment overlooking Bleecker Street.
"Okay.  We do like them," Tiffany admitted as she watched Starlene put more of her risqué lingerie into a suitcase.
"The only music Stanley likes is 'Ole Blue Eyes'" Starlene said grimacing.
"You think it's going to work out for you?" Tiffany asked worried about the huge age difference.
"Oh yeah.  I just love his big house, the limo and all the money he gives me," she said as she closed the suitcase filled with lingerie.  "I'm going down stairs with this and I'll pick up the CDs when I stop by another day," she said as she picked up her wedding gown that was in a clear plastic bag and draped it over her other arm.
Tiffany walked to the front door and opened it as Starlene hit the button for the elevator to take her down one floor. The door opened and Starlene stepped into the elevator as Tiffany went back into the apartment and closed the door.
Starlene stepped out of the elevator and pushed the front door of the building open into the bright sunshine.
"How many more suitcases Baby?" Skeeter asked.  He had been standing on the sidewalk guarding the boxes she had brought down earlier.
"I guess that's it for today," she said as she placed the suitcase on the sidewalk.
"If you bring too many more you may as well have called a mover," he said eyeing the line of boxes on the sidewalk.
"You're right Skeeter. This is enough to begin with," she said.  "I've got the important stuff to get me started... my lingerie and the wedding gown," she said grinning as she glanced down at the long white gown draped over her arm.
"You going to invite me and Tiffany to the wedding aren't you?" Skeeter asked as he glanced at the wedding gown.
"Of course.  I wish I could ask you to be best man," she said laughing.
"Yeah, I don't think Stanley would like that," he said referring to his ex-father-in -law that she hoped to marry.
"There's a cab now," Starlene said waving her free hand as the yellow taxicab approached the curb and slowed down.
"You need for me to help you load the boxes?" Skeeter asked as the cab came to the curb.
"Yeah, that would be nice," Starlene said as the cab driver pushed the button and released the trunk.
Skeeter put the boxes into the trunk and Starlene stood on the sidewalk with her long wedding gown draped over her arm.  She glanced up at the window of Tiffany's apartment on the second floor above Skeeter's lingerie store.  She saw her sister standing in the window watching.  She waved and blew a kiss as Skeeter lowered the trunk on the cab.
"There you go Baby.  I hope you'll be happy," Skeeter said kissing her on the cheek as he turned and walked towards the front door of his lingerie store.
"Thanks Skeeter," she said as she opened the back door of the cab and started to put the gown on the seat.  She glanced up and saw a red Ferrari pulling up behind the cab.  She noticed the driver was waving.  She put her hand over her eyes to shield the sun so that she could see more clearly as the driver sounded the horn on the expensive car.
