1 pound fresh ricotta cheese 2 tablespoons finely grated orange zest (from 2 oranges) 2 tablespoons sugar 2 cups mixed berries, such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice Grated bittersweet chocolate (optional)
Press the ricotta cheese through a sieve set over a bowl. Stir in the orange zest and sugar. Toss the berries with the orange juice and chocolate to taste. Spoon the ricotta onto 4 dessert plates. Top with the berries. Serves 4.
