1/4 cup butter 1/3 lb. Mushrooms, sliced 1 cup sliced onions 1/4 cup Greek strained yogurt 1 cup curd cheese or farmers cheese 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon dried mixed herbs 1 lb. Green and white noodles For Garnish: 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese Parsley sprigs
Melt the butter in a pan, add the mushrooms and onions and sauté until soft. Stir in yogurt, cheese, garlic powder and mixed herbs, and cook over a low heat until the cheese has just melted. Meanwhile cook the pasta as directed on package. Drain, then stir in the hot sauce. Sprinkle the pasta with the Parmesan cheese and serve garnished with parsley. Serves 4.
