Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday May 20th 2004 "Hi Starlene, I'm home," Tiffany called out as she locked the front door to her apartment overlooking Bleecker Street. "In here," Starlene shouted from her bedroom as she zipped her dress. "Hi honey, how was your day," Tiffany said walking into her sister's bedroom. "Interesting. I can tell you that," Starlene said as she sat on the edge of the bed and put on her high heels. "Where are you going all dressed up?" "I'm going out with Marco," Starlene said. "What! Are you crazy Starlene, he's married. I thought you had broken it off with him." "Well, I had but he stopped by today and we talked," she said remembering the long lunch hour he'd spent in the apartment with her. "Oh Starlene! I can't believe you would see him again. Skeeter said he thinks that Marco's wife lives in the building," Tiffany said referring to her ex-husband that lives next door. Skeeter told them he'd seen a woman getting mail out of Marco's mailbox. "Well, I can't let that stop me," Starlene said as she fastened her high heel sandals remembering how scared she'd been when he was at the door today and they heard a woman's high heels coming down the stairs. "I'm surprised at you," Tiffany said. "Come on Tiffany. Skeeter is actually a married man too!" Starlene said angrily. "That's different. We were married before and he's getting a divorce." "How do you know that Marco isn't getting a divorce too?" she said as she grabbed her brush and started brushing her long blonde hair. "Starlene what about Stanley?" she said referring to Starlene' older lover that had proposed marriage then changed his mind after finding out about Marco. "I can't wait on Stanley! I bought my wedding gown and he changed his mind. This can't go on forever," she said fighting back tears. "But if Stanley finds out that you're still seeing Marco there won't be any chance he'll change his mind," Tiffany said. "I can't help it. I've got to see Marco," she said adjusting her low cut dress to better accentuate her bosom. "I just can't believe this. I can't," Tiffany said shaking her head. "This just isn't the right thing to do," Tiffany said. "I know what I'm doing. Trust me on this Tiffany." "Starlene you have been crying over Stanley for days now. All I've heard from you is how low you thing Marco was for taking advantage of you when he was married." "I know. But I think I have the upper hand now. You see Marco said he is going to introduce me to this guy at the TV station and maybe there's a part for me in a new show," she said grinning broadly. "Oh. You didn't tell me that. But still," Tiffany said thoughtfully as she took a seat on the bed. "Yeah, we talked about it today. He knows how mad I am at him. But you know what's done is done. He said he knew I never would have agreed to see him if I'd known that he was married." "That's right." "That's why he didn't tell me," she said smiling broadly. "But that was wrong." "Yeah, but now I'm going to use him to get what I want. It's only fair after what he's cost me," she said thinking about her wedding dress and Stanley. "I don't know. I don't think you should." "Trust me. I'm going to make this work out to my advantage," she said as she applied lip-gloss. "So where are you going?" "I'm meeting Marco and one of the TV producers for drinks on the Upper West Side," she said grabbing her purse and starting towards the door to leave. "Today when he stopped by you didn't... you didn't do it with him. Did you?" Tiffany asked. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
