Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday April 26th 2004 Tiffany sat on the sofa of her living room reading the New York Times and having her morning coffee. She heard the front door of the apartment open and saw Starlene walk in. "Hi Tiffany," Starlene said walking into the living room still wearing the low cut black dress she had on last night when she went out on her first date with Marco. "Starlene where have you been all night?" Tiffany asked as she tossed the newspaper on the coffee table. "Having a great time," Starlene said walking to the sofa. She put her purse on the sofa and then took a seat beside her sister. "Well, I guess dinner was nice, huh?" Tiffany asked as she watched Starlene kick off her high heels. "It was a dream come true," Starlene said leaning her head back on the cushion. "You spent the night with Marco?" "Yeah, it was just so great," she said yawning. "Don't you think it was a little sudden? I mean you just met him Starlene," Tiffany said watching her sister closely. "Oh come on. We're both adults." "Well tell me about it." "We had dinner at Tavern on the Green." "Nice. He has good taste," Tiffany admitted. "Yes, it was so romantic with all the white lights and being outside looking at Central Park." "Then?" Tiffany asked waving her hand and motioning for her to get to the good part. "We talked and talked. Several men were there that he knew from TV. They came over and I met them. They work in advertising sales. You should have seen the way they watched me Tiffany. I could tell they were impressed." "Then what?" "After that we went for drinks at a quiet little bar on the Upper West Side. We had a few." "You didn't have too many did you?" Tiffany asked worried that was the reason she had stayed out all night. "No. I stopped drinking and said we had better get home. I thought he had to work today but he didn't have to go in. Since we live in the same building I thought we were staying out late because it wouldn't take long to get home. But he insisted we go to the Plaza Hotel and have a nightcap. When we got there it was late and then he said 'let's get a room and a bottle of champagne to remember our first night together,'" she said remembering his words. "So you did?" "Yeah and one thing led to another in the room and you know," she said grinning broadly. "So he brought you back here this morning?" "No, he took a shower in the room and went straight to the TV station. He has to get ready to go to California later this week." "Oh so he travels?" Tiffany said. "Actually he lives in California and has an apartment here. He works with a TV station in California and the sister station here in New York." "Oh. So I guess you really like him?" "A lot. I can't wait to be with him again. I think it might be love," she said dreamy eyed. "I hope so because you've got trouble coming with Stanley," Tiffany said. "He called?" "No he stopped by." "Oh no. I told him not to," Starlene said leaning forward and resting her chin on her hand. "He's not the only one that stopped by last night," Tiffany said shaking her head. "Who else?" "Skeeter," Tiffany said referring to her ex-husband and Stanley's son-in-law. "No! Stanley wasn't here when Skeeter came by?" Starlene asked. "Oh yeah, it was a regular party," Tiffany said her voice filled with disgust. "Well what happened?" CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
