Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday March 23rd 2004 Nicole opened the door to the apartment and watched as Skeeter walked in with the bottle of wine he had brought. "It all looks the same Baby," he said handing her the bottle of wine as he glanced around at the apartment overlooking Bleecker Street. She closed the door and locked it with the dead bolt. "It is," she said walking to the kitchen to get wineglasses. "You been coming over here often," Skeeter asked as he glanced at the photos on the mantle. "No, not really. I mean Daddy has been using the place," she said walking into the living room carrying two glasses of wine. She walked up beside him and handed him a glass of wine. "Thanks Baby. To us," he said raising his glass and touching hers in a toast. "I'll sure drink to that," she said before taking a sip. "Who's that?" Skeeter asked pointing to a picture on the mantle. "That's Daddy," she said referring to the picture of a distinguished looking older man. "He's not bad looking," Skeeter said thinking that her Father actually looked like the actors that portray mob bosses in the movies. "The women love him," she said as she sipped her wine. "So he's been coming here sometimes." "Yeah, so I've been behaving myself while he's in town." "You and Clark getting along?" "No. I just haven't decided what I want to do next. I'm bored though," she said as she stepped closer to him. "I'm surprised you haven't called me Skeeter." "I've been behaving myself too," he said grinning. "Jan keeping you happy? "No," he said shaking his head. "I saw your picture in the newspaper with that older woman. Some celebrity woman," she said pretending not to remember her name. "Lola." "Yeah, were the two of you getting it on?" "Yeah." "Still seeing her?" "Not lately." "So what's new in your life besides the underwear billboard in Times Square that drove me back into your arms," Nicole said pushing her bosom into his arm as she came closer to his side. "Not much," he lied not wanting to tell her that he'd been seeing his first wife Tiffany again. "How's the party planning business going?" he asked referring to the business that she and Clark run where Tiffany is employed as the secretary. "Oh it's been picking up. I think it will probably get even busier soon," she said as she turned to put her glass of wine on the table nearby. She walked back closer to him taking his glass from his hand and placing it on the table next to hers. "That's good," he said watching as she came back to his side standing even closer than before. "Yeah, Amir's coming back to New York, so we'll be busy doing parties for him I think," she said referring to Tiffany's wealthy foreign lover. "He is?" Skeeter asked as Nicole unbuttoned his shirt and ran her fingers along his masculine chest. "Yeah. He called the other day and told Clark he'd be back soon. You might soon be rid of Tiffany for good," she said as she reached for the snap on his jeans. "Why? Why do you say that?" he asked as she pushed her body closer to his. "I think they'll get married," she said as the snap released. "I don't want to talk, Skeeter... and I can tell you don't either." CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
