Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday March 15th 2004 Skeeter kissed Tiffany quickly on the cheek as she walked out of the front door of his apartment on Bleecker Street. At first he had thought living next door to his ex-wife would be a bother. Now he likes it since their romance has warmed up. "Good night," she said smiling sweetly. "Good night baby. You sure you don't want to change your mind and stay over here a little longer?" he asked referring to his apartment. "No, it's like I said Skeeter. It's best we wait until you get a divorce from Jan. I just don't feel right otherwise," she said referring to his wife that he said he was separated from. "Okay, but knock on the wall if you change your mind," he said grinning. "Three times?" she asked smiling. "I'd beat the wall down to get to you," he said as he watched her put the key in the door and open it. "Good night Skeeter," she said closing the door. He closed his door and locked it. He walked back into his living room and took a seat on his sofa. He picked up the remote to the TV and turned it on. His cell phone rang on the coffee table and he quickly picked it up. "Hello," he answered. "Skeeter Darling," Lola said in her sexiest voice. "Lola. How you doing Baby?" he asked remembering the evenings of hot passion they had shared. "Oh I'm surviving I suppose." "What does that mean?" "I haven't seen much of you since your billboard went up in Times Square," she said referring to the job he'd done modeling underwear. "Yeah, it's been crazy alright." "If I didn't know better Skeeter I would think you had used me." "How's that Baby?" he asked knowing exactly what she was referring to. "It appears that when my doorman got all of that publicity after being caught in bed with me that you were very eager to meet me and start a romance. I think you were afraid he was going to get the modeling job and that's why you started seeing me," she said as her voiced cracked in pain. "What kind of guy would do something like that?" he asked not wanting to admit his guilt. "A man that wants the publicity and the money for doing that billboard." "I'm not that kind of person." "Good. Then what have you been up to? I haven't heard from you in a while." "Oh just work." "How's the divorce coming with Jan?" "In the works," he lied. "Oh really? I'm pleased to hear that you'll soon be divorced. I miss you Skeeter." "I miss you too Baby." "Why don't you come over?" "I don't know I'm kind of tired." "Well, I could come over to your store. I love that little hideaway you have in the basement," she said remembering the evening they had shared. "Oh I don't have the keys to that anymore." "Then where are you living Skeeter." "Near the store. On Bleecker Street," he said. He didn't want to tell her that he now lives next door to his ex-wife Tiffany. "Oh by all means I should come over and see your new place." "No Baby, not tonight. Maybe another night okay?" he asked glancing at his watch and realizing he had to leave to get home to Jan. "Then when Skeeter? Are we a couple or not?" she asked. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
