Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday March 10th 2004 Jan sat at the bar in her kitchen sipping her morning coffee. Ilona the housekeeper took the fresh muffins out of the oven. "Mr. Skeeter move back?" Ilona asked in her broken English as she turned to look at her employer. "Soon," Jan said as she picked up the newspaper from the bar. She glanced up towards the bedroom when she heard the shower turn off. "He'll be having breakfast here this morning," Jan said. "Yes Miss Morgan," Ilona said. "I'm sure he's hungry too. We were up late last night," Jan said thinking about the hours it had taken her to get Skeeter in the mood for romance. "I make his favorite muffins." "I hope they are low cal. He's so self conscious about his weight now that he's the model for the underwear company," Jan said referring to Skeeter's recent billboard in Times Square. "He look good, no?" Ilona said as she took the muffins from the tin. "Oh yes. He looks great. I thought I'd be embarrassed about the billboard but actually I'm enjoying it. All of my Park Avenue friends are so envious that I'm the one married to him. It's really rather amusing," Jan said obviously proud of her conquest. "Hey there Ilona," Skeeter said as he walked into the kitchen dressed only in his briefs. "Mr. Skeeter good to see you home," she said as her eyes tried to avoid looking at his briefs. "It's always good to see you Ilona. I've missed your muffins too," he said taking a seat at the bar as Ilona poured him a cup of coffee. "I hope you haven't been baking muffins for some other man?" he teased. Jan turned the page in the newspaper and suddenly dropped the paper on the bar. "Skeeter!" she said her voice filled with alarm. "What Baby?" he asked wondering what had caused her sudden concern. "Look at this," she said picking the newspaper back up and handing it to him. He glanced down at the picture in the gossip section and saw what had caused his wife's sudden mood change. It was a picture of Starlene and Tiffany in the back of a limousine in Times Square. Above the long white car you could see the billboard of Skeeter in his underwear. At the edge of the photo Skeeter was pictured walking towards the car. The copy read "Playboy takes on Times Square with Playbody Playmate and his ex-wife". Beneath the heading there was a brief explanation. "Skeeter Diamond was spotted signing autographs in Times Square recently. Skeeter landed the coveted contract to model for the new underwear advertisements in Times Square. It was Skeeter's apparent dates that are raising eyebrows these days. Our photographer spotted Starlene, a recent Playbody Magazine pin up, and Skeeter's ex-wife Tiffany in the back of his limo. As you know Mr. Diamond is married to socialite Jan Morgan the daughter of well known businessman Stanley Morgan." "I don't understand" Skeeter said scratching his chin and looking at the newspaper as if in deep thought. "What is it that you don't understand Skeeter?" Jan snapped. "I haven't been with Tiffany and Starlene. They were in Times Square that's all. I didn't get into the limo with them." "Skeeter are you sure that's the truth?" she asked wanting nothing more than to believe him. "Of course it's the truth. If you don't trust me then this marriage will never work out Jan. I may as well leave," he said getting up from the barstool to leave. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
