1 cup quick cooking rolled oats 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup Grape Nuts Cereal 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1 egg, beaten 1/3 cup applesauce 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 2 tablespoons cooking oil 1 (16 ounce) package mixed, dried fruit bits 1/4 cup sunflower seeds 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Line an 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan with aluminum foil. Spray foil with nonstick coating. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, Grape Nuts, and ginger. Add egg, applesauce, honey, brown sugar, and oil. Mix well; stir in fruit, sunflower seeds, and walnuts. Spread mixture in prepared pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool; cut.
