I'll see you later tonight," Skeeter said as he kissed Tiffany quickly on the cheek. "Thanks Skeeter. It was great," Starlene said as the two women got out of the back of the long white limo and the driver closed the door. "See you later," Tiffany said waving as the driver closed the door to the car and walked back to the driver's side to get in. The two women walked over the cobblestones of MacDougal Mews towards the townhouse where Tiffany works. "That was fun going to lunch with Skeeter," Starlene said as they approached the townhouse. Tiffany unlocked the door with her key. "Yeah it was. It's nice to be with him again," Tiffany admitted. "It felt almost like old times back in Georgia, except a lot more exciting now that Skeeter's has his picture on a billboard in Times Square," Starlene said. "Yeah, it's more exciting and a lot more complicated too," Tiffany said as they walked into the townhouse and closed the door. "Why because he's married to Jan now?" Starlene asked as they took off their coats and hung them on a rack near the door. "Yeah," Tiffany admitted. "Don't worry. I'm telling you Stanley says Jan's sick of him and all of this," Starlene said referring her lover and Jan's father. "I still don't know if things could ever work out though," Tiffany said as she walked towards her desk. "Why not?" Starlene asked taking a seat in the chair in front of Tiffany's desk. "I don't know if I could ever trust him. I mean last night I don't think Skeeter came home," Tiffany said as she took a seat at her desk. "What makes you say that?" "Starlene I was home all night and I never heard him come in," she said referring to the fact that he lives next door. "Maybe you just didn't hear him." "I heard the door open this morning and I think he was coming in. I can't be sure, but I wonder if maybe he spent the night somewhere other than his apartment last night." "I wouldn't worry too much about it Tiffany. I think you and Skeeter will work everything out," she said as her cell phone rang in her purse. She quickly took it out and answered, "Hello." "Hi Honey," Stanley said. "Hi Stan," she said as she watched Tiffany turn on her computer. "I was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with Tiffany tonight?" Stanley asked as he sat at his desk in his office in the Empire State Building. "Why? I just had lunch with her," Starlene said. "I'm meeting with Jan tonight," he said. "Why?" "She wants to go over some of the finances and arrangements with me," he said. "So you and Jan have business," Starlene said glancing towards Tiffany to see if she was listening. "Yeah, I'm not too happy about what I think she has on her mind," he said. "Well what do you think she has on her mind Stanley?" "Skeeter." "Skeeter?" Starlene repeated for Tiffany's benefit. "Yeah, it seems he's been staying over at her house again and they are back together. Just when I thought I was almost rid of him." "Oh," Starlene said then cleared her throat. "I'm afraid Jan is going to want to make some kind of financial arrangement that'll keep him around. That's exactly what I don't want," Stanley said. "Then don't let her Stanley." "I'll see what's on her mind. Don't say anything about it. I'll call you later honey," he said hanging up the phone. "What is it Starlene?" Tiffany asked. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
