Starlene asked as she propped herself up on the pillows in his bed. "Just going to the office," he said as he sat up and reached for a cigar on the nightstand by the bed. "I have an idea," she said smiling sweetly. "What's that honey?" "Let's go get a marriage license." "Starlene I don't think it's as easy as that," he said bracing himself for what might be coming. "I've waited a long time Stanley. I've been living here with you and things are really working out." "Then we shouldn't mess it up," he said as he lit his cigar and took a puff. "I resent that Stanley Morgan. If you don't soon marry me then I'm going to move out," she said pouting. "Now, now," he said patting the sheet that barely covered her legs. "It would work out Stanley. Don't you love me?" "Yes you know I do." "Then prove it to me Stanley. Let's plan our wedding. You told me that once Jan got married we'd get married. Well she's married and almost divorced now." "I hope she will soon be divorced." "Why because Skeeter went out with Lola? Are you jealous of Lola?" she asked referring to his ex-girlfriend that his son-in-law had been photographed with in the tabloids. "No, I'm not jealous of Lola. Lola was a long time ago. I just don't like Skeeter," Stanley said flicking the ashes off the cigar into the ashtray on the nightstand. "Skeeter will be out of your life soon," she said. "How do you know?" Stanley asked glancing towards her and admiring her full bosom that was barely covered by the sheet. "Skeeter's got a lot going on now." "How do you know?" "I ran into him the other day and he's doing good. His billboard will be up in Times Square next week I think," she said trying to remember exactly what Skeeter had told her when she ran into him at her sister's apartment. She didn't want to tell Stanley that Skeeter had moved into the apartment next door to her sister Tiffany. She wanted to give her sister an opportunity to see how the relationship would develop without Stanley's daughter Jan knowing so soon. "He's disgusting. I'll be so glad to get him out of the family." "Why do you think Skeeter is so disgusting?" "He's a womanizer, a jerk," Stanley said leaning back on his pillow. "So a man that has a lot of girlfriends and doesn't stay married to one is a womanizer?" "Yes." "Then you're a womanizer too Stanley." "I am not. You're the only woman in my life." "But you won't marry me. I live with you and you don't respect me enough to marry me," she said pulling the sheet up to her chin. "Oh come on Starlene. Marriage doesn't always work out either honey," he said patting her on the leg. "Stanley. I won't stay much longer if you don't marry me. I have other plans if I'm not going to be your wife" "Like what?" "Getting my career rolling," she said annoyed with his question. "You posed in Playbody. I thought that was what you wanted." "I need to get more publicity and capitalize on the exposure now if I'm not going to be a happily married woman. I have to look out for my future." "I'll look out for you honey." "Then marry me Stanley, or let me go," she said getting out of the bed and reaching for her robe as he watched. "Okay. I'll give it serious thought," he said admiring her beautiful body as she pulled on the sheer robe. "You mean it?" CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
