Sixth picture was taken downtown in Lower Manhattan. Here you see the top of the Woolworth Building. This was one of NYC's first skyscrapers and it's still one of the very prettiest. If you walk by step inside and look at the lobby. It's truly a work of art rising three stories featuring a barrel vault covered with Byzantine style mosaics. The second floor balconies are decorated with frescoes. There's a marble stairway, bronze furnishings, ornate gilt decorations complete with a Gothic theme. What an entrance!
