1 - 4 oz. Veal steak (lean)
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
1 tbsp. Green olive oil
1 medium size onion, diced
1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped; or dried mushrooms, soaked
1/2 cup dry Marsala wine

With a fork, lightly indent the veal steak all over on both sides. Rub with a little of the crushed garlic and Italian herb seasoning. Heat the olive oil in a medium sized skillet, and sauté the onion, garlic, chopped mushrooms, and Italian herb seasoning for 5 minutes.  Add the veal and sear quickly over high heat for 3 minutes on each side. Pour on the Marsala wine and continue cooking quickly for about 3 minutes.  Remove the veal and reduce the wine sauce until it is thick. Serve on a warm dinner plate. Serves 1.
