There probably isn't a place in this country that has gone through more changes than downtown NYC.  On today's photo tour we'll show you some of the changes. Top right picture you see the Winter Garden Atrium.  Before September 11th 2001, the World Trade Center stood behind this glass building.  Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the workers this beautiful building is repaired and reopened to the public. Center right picture you see further south in Battery Park.  You see the pier and in the distance you see Governors Island which now belongs to NY.  The plans are to open a school on this gorgeous island.
