A really relaxing way to spend a day is by the water. Top right picture you see the 79th Street Boat Basin. You can enjoy a day in Riverside Park and dine on the waterfront.
Center right picture you see Café Figaro on Bleecker Street. Coffee houses have been a way of life in Greenwich Village for decades. It's fun to sit at an outdoor table and watch people. In the village there are no rules about fashion, which makes for the best people watching in the world.
