Top right picture you see Babbo Restaurant. Television chef, cook book author, and celebrity chef Mario Batali owns Babbo Restaurant. Babbo Restaurant is located around the corner from Washington Square Park at 110 Waverly Place between MacDougal Street and Sixth Avenue. It's not unusual to see Mario walking through the park in his chef uniform.
Center right picture you see West 8th Street at Sixth Avenue. Further up the street on the right is where Jimi Hendrix opened the Electric Lady Sound Studios (still there and sounding fine).
Bottom right picture you see Christopher Street Park. This park is historic as the scene of the 1969 riot between the police and the gays that sparked the Gay Liberation movement.
