Many people live outside of Manhattan and commute in daily from one of the five boroughs. Most city dwellers living on the island of Manhattan never see the other boroughs. So today we decided to take a little excursion over the Williamsburg Bridge to an area of Brooklyn known as Williamsburg. This trip only takes a few minutes, but you might want to spend the day exploring.
Top right picture you see one of the pretty views of the Williamsburg Bridge as seen along the Hudson River.
Center right picture you see a view of the city of Manhattan. To the far left you see the Empire State Building.
Bottom right picture you see Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg. Bedford Avenue is lined with little shops, bakeries, and restaurants. You'll find lots of stores selling old items that you might find at flea markets. It's an especially good area for people that love to hunt for vintage treasures.
