Gramercy Park is the only park in NYC that is private. This means the gated park requires a key for entrance by the owners and tenants of homes surrounding Gramercy Park. Gramercy Park is a quiet area where artists, movie stars and famous people live.

Center right picture you see Pete's Tavern on Irving Place. This is NYC's oldest tavern. It's been a fixture in this historic neighborhood since 1864.
