Today we give a great deal of thought about time. Another year has passed. It's been a hard one for New Yorkers but the celebration will go on tonight. The weather will be very cold tonight in Times Square. This year while you watch the ball drop you'll see lots of red, white and blue confetti.
Top right picture was taken last year in near blizzard conditions right before the New Year's Eve party. By the time the crowd arrived you would never have known it snowed. Nothing stops New York. We've proved that, over and over.
Center right picture you see Times Square a week ago. Tonight this entire area will be filled with people. If you plan to be here to celebrate, come early and don't bring any bags. Security will be extra tight. Be sure to dress warmly too.
