Top right picture was taken at Battery Park looking west towards the Hudson River. A walk in this area makes you feel more like you're touring a resort island than downtown New York City. Seagulls fly overhead as you watch the sailboats and ships cruise by.
Center right picture you see the shoreline with the view of New Jersey across the Hudson River. Many people live in New Jersey and take the ferry to work into Manhattan daily.
Bottom right picture you see Castle Clinton at the tip of Battery Park. This was built to be a real fort but was never used for its original purpose. In the background you see a panoramic view of downtown Manhattan.
