If you are one of our regular readers you already know our daily photo tours are upbeat and happy. We never thought we would be photographing pictures such as the ones you see top left as tanks move down Houston Street.
Top right picture you see heavy equipment on Canal Street which is deserted. All businesses are closed from 14th Street all the way down to Battery Park.
Center right picture you see West Street with Battery Park City in the background as the smoke fills the air where the two beautiful towers once stood. You also see members of the press gathering as close as the police will allow us to the disaster scene.
