"As we graze it grows"

1 pound linguini or spaghetti
Salt
4 to 6 quarts boiling water
1 cup parsley sprigs
1/2 cup pine nuts
2 cloves fresh garlic
1 tablespoon dried basil
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Dash of Pepper

Gradually add linguini and 2 tablespoons salt to rapidly boiling water so water continues to boil.  Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender.  Drain in colander.  While linguini is cooking, combine in electric blender container parsley, nuts, garlic, basil, oil and water.  Blend until smooth.  Gradually add cheese until well mixed.  Season to taste with salt and pepper.  Toss linguini with sauce and serve immediately.   Linguini serves 4-6.
