The streets are narrow and they have names instead of numbers in downtown New York City. This is also where you'll find government buildings like the court houses and City Hall.
If you want to get downtown you might walk or drive Broadway to get there. Top left picture you see the crowds on Broadway.
Top right picture you see the Municipal Building downtown. The Brooklyn Bridge is located just to the right of the Municipal Building.
Center right picture you see Nassau Street. This street is closed to traffic most of the time. Shoppers enjoy one store right after another without dodging speeding cabs!
Bottom right picture you see City Hall. This is where Mayor Giuliani works.
