Top right and left pictures were taken on Orchard Street in the Lower East Side. Here you see the Jewish merchants selling coats and clothing.
Center right picture you see Joe's Fabric. The Lower East Side has areas that specialize in home decorating, lighting and fabrics. Nearby you will also find Puerto Rican restaurants serving rice and beans with fried plantains, pork chops and chicken. Bodegas are on every corner.
Bottom right picture was also taken on Orchard Street. All around the Lower East Side you will see avant-garde clubs and small boutiques. The more reasonable rents make the Lower East Side very attractive.
