How is it different to live on the East Side of Manhattan rather than the West Side? For one thing, people dress up more on the East Side. You see more business people here. In the village you meet more creative types and the Upper West Side you meet more show business professionals. Of course, there are no rules or boundaries. That's what makes NYC so great. Today we'll show you are few of the sights of the East Side of New York City.
Top left picture you see Fifth Avenue. Fifth Avenue is the line in the middle of the city that divides the east and the west. In the distance you see Trump Tower.
Top right picture you see Polo on Madison Avenue. Madison is the area for the serious shoppers that have serious money to spend.
Center right picture you see the United Nations Plaza. This is about as close as you get to the East River without getting wet. You'll hear lots of different languages spoken here.
Bottom right picture you see Park Avenue. If you live here you have a doorman and there aren't many restaurants or clubs around. That's okay, you have your limo take you to the Village for fun. Click here for the next page.
