Greenwich Village has been known since the earth was formed as the coolest place in the universe.
Top left picture you see Jefferson Market Library on 6th Avenue. This gorgeous building that once was a courthouse at one time was voted America's fifth most beautiful building.
Top right picture you see the arches of Washington Square Park which is the center of the village, and, great for cool people watching.
Center right picture you see Comollo's Restaurant on 6th Avenue. You will notice the lack of windows on the second floor...it was a speakeasy during prohibition days.
