During the 60's Soho was earmarked for destruction. The artists living in the area saved the beautiful old cast iron framed warehouses. Today, Soho's stores and restaurants are among some of the most expensive in the city, not to mention the cost of the rent if you are lucky enough to find anything available.
Top left you see West Broadway which is completely lined with stores. Walk the sidewalk here and you'll see the latest in fashions, expensive jewelry and lots of shoe stores.
