Most New Yorker's don't have cars...we don't need them. We don't have malls (maybe one or two); we don't need them either. So how do we shop for the holidays? We take subways, cabs, buses and we walk! It's not unusual to see people walking down a busy sidewalk carrying a Christmas tree home only to walk up five flights of stairs later! We work hard here.
