CASTING! BECOME A STAR ON THIS INTERACTIVE SOAP OPERA. SEND YOUR PHOTO, CLICK FOR DETAILS! Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday January 9th 2004 Skeeter arrived late at the NYC Benefits luncheon. He noticed a group of women at the coatroom waiting for the attendant to get their coats. "Lola looks great considering she's under so much stress," a lady said to her friend. "Stress! Honestly if I had a handy doorman like hers I wouldn't be stressed," the other lady said laughing. "That doorman's going to be on a billboard in Times Square now. I guess Lola won't have to tip him anymore. He's certainly made a name for himself," one of the older women said. "Was he an escort of hers?" "No, he was only the doorman. But he has left his post at the door and her bed and gone on to bigger and better," another lady said as the other friend touched her arm quickly. "Shhh here comes Lola," she said as the attendant handed them their minks. "Lola darling, we hope to see you again soon," the women said as they put on their coats and turned to walk towards the door to leave. "Yes, I'll see you next week at the Sutton Place Bazaar," Lola said walking towards the coatroom. Skeeter watched as Lola walked towards the lobby and the coat attendant to get her mink. "Hello," Skeeter said in his sexiest voice. "Hello," Lola said smiling at the handsome southerner. "Are you in a hurry?" he asked noticing the expensive designer dress she was wearing. "Excuse me?" "I wanted to ask you if you'd join me for a drink." "I don't believe we've met." "Oh, of course. My name is Skeeter Diamond." "Nice to meet you Skeeter," she said extending her hand. "You are Lola Rogers I believe," he said grinning seductively. "Yes," she said as her face reddened thinking that he'd probably seen her picture in the newspaper. The paparazzi had managed to get a shot of her in the bedroom with her doorman. The scandal had embarrassed her but raised her doorman to the status of celebrity in NYC. "I'm sorry you've been through so much recently. I totally understand," Skeeter said as the attendant handed her the mink coat. "You do?" she asked surprised by his compassion. "Oh yeah. I've had my share of the paparazzi myself," he said shaking his head and pretending to be disgusted. "Oh," she said as he helped her with her mink coat. "Yeah, my ex-wife starting seeing that wealthy builder Amir Hada and life was just hell for a while," he said. "Oh, you were married to her," she said remembering the newspaper articles about Amir's relationship with a secretary named Tiffany. "Yeah," he said as they started to walk towards the front door of the restaurant to leave. "I guess that was rather horrible for you," she said. "Why don't we have a drink? It's been a hard day and I think we have a lot in common," he said grinning as he put his arm around her. "Well, I don't know," she said glancing around to see the last of her lady friends getting into the back of a limo. "I don't see any photographers around. I'm a good listener," he said smiling seductively. "But we just met and I..." she hesitated. "There's my limo now," he said waving for his hired limo as it pulled up to the curb. The driver stopped the car at the curb and got out walking around towards the passenger door. "We both could use a friend." "I don't know," she said again. "If you think I want it to be more than friends, then I confess you're right. A woman like you doesn't come along often. What do you think Lola?" he asked in his sexiest voice as the limo driver opened the door to the long white car. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
