Starlene called out as she closed the door to her sister's apartment and locked it. "In here," Tiffany said as she turned down the volume to the TV. "Hi," Starlene said walking into the living room and taking off her coat. "Hi. What happened with Vinny?" Tiffany asked. The sisters had been having coffee at the Washington Square Hotel Restaurant when Vinny came in and asked to join them. Tiffany left Starlene there to talk to Vinny while she came back to her apartment on Bleecker Street. "Oh we had a nice talk," Starlene said taking a seat in the chair nearby. "I don't like him Starlene," Tiffany said as her eyes narrowed. "I do." "Starlene, he works for Nicole's father. He's in the mob," Tiffany said referring to her bosses' wife Nicole. "There's something about him I really like," Starlene said crossing her legs and thinking about how tempting she found the masculine roughneck. "Where is he now?" "He went over to talk to Nicole," Starlene said. "Great. He comes onto you then goes and talks to my enemy," Tiffany said wondering what Vinny would say about meeting them in the restaurant. "Look you might be better off that we ran into him. I told him that Nicole had lied about you inviting Brandon to the party. I told him that Nicole called Brandon and told him to come to the party knowing that you were bringing Amir as your date." "What did he say?" "He said he would talk to Clark about it for you." "Really?" Tiffany said surprised. "Yeah. He said he's known Nicole all her life and that he wasn't too surprised to hear this. I told him that Clark had believed Nicole when she denied it and said that you had invited both men as your date." "Good, I'm glad you told him," Tiffany said feeling a little satisfaction. "I told him Clark had been angry with you because he might lose Brandon as a client. I told him that Clark should have been angry with Nicole instead." "Good! Good!" Tiffany said. "You know what he said?" Starlene said laughing. "What?" "He said that Nicole probably took Clark to bed and that's why he believed her now," Starlene said slapping her leg as both women laughed. "He does know Nicole doesn't he?" Tiffany said as she remembered that Clark said he and Nicole had overslept the morning after the incident. "Yeah, I'm telling you Tiffany Vinny is really a nice guy. There's something about him," Starlene said remembering his big rough hand softly touching her fingertips as they sat together in the restaurant over coffee. "Just stay away from him Starlene. He's Mafia. You've got Stanley." "Yeah. But if anything ever goes wrong between Stanley and me..." she said as she seemed to space out in thought. "You've got a thing for him don't you Starlene?" "Yeah, but you're right. I have Stanley. I don't want to mess that up now. The next thing I have to do is get Stanley to marry me," Starlene said. "It must be nice," Tiffany said thinking about the fact she had lost both of her lovers. "Have you heard from Brandon or Amir?" "No." "Which one do you want to hear from Tiffany?" Starlene asked wondering which she would choose in that situation. "I don't think it makes any difference now," Tiffany said feeling totally defeated. "Yes it does. I think you can have either one you want," Starlene said leaning back in the chair as she tried to figure out how Tiffany could get out of her triangle. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
