Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday November 19th 2003 "Look I have to go," Tiffany said grabbing her coat from the seat in the booth of the Washington Square Restaurant. "Don't let me scare you off," Vinny said watching Tiffany put on her coat and button it. "No, it's just that I have a lot of phone calls to make," Tiffany said thinking about the lover's triangle she was involved in. "I see where you gots yourself a new man," Vinny said remembering what he had just read in the tabloid newspaper this morning in his room upstairs at the Washington Square Hotel. "That's a catastrophe," Tiffany said. "How's that?" Vinny asked. "Well, I know you work for Nicole, so it won't do me any good to tell you what really happened," Tiffany said grabbing her purse from the seat. "I ain't talked to Nicole about anything yet," he said as his hand touched Starlene's leg under the tablecloth. "I'll see you later Starlene. Nice seeing you Vinny," Tiffany said turning to leave. "Tiffany, don't worry. It's going to be okay," Starlene said as she watched her sister walking away from the booth were she and Vinny were seated. "I hope so. I have to run," Tiffany said walking towards the front door of the restaurant and pushing it open before walking out onto the sidewalk. "She seems all upset about this newspaper article," Vinny said. "Yeah, she is. Clark's mad at her because Brandon Douglas is furious over the article," Starlene said referring to her sister's lover and Clark's client. "Your sister's got herself a couple of wealthy men in love with hers," he said blowing on his coffee before taking a long loud sip. "I think she had a couple of wealthy lovers," Starlene said wondering how Tiffany would ever straighten this out. "I don't think it's much of my concern what your sister there does," he said putting his cup down and looking at Starlene. "But on the other hand, what you do is very much of a concern to me Starlene," he said reaching for her arm and squeezing it lightly with his masculine hand. "I'm fine," she said smiling as she remembered the evenings she and Vinny had almost consummated an intimate relationship. Those evenings were many months ago when she had been so angry with her lover Stanley for not committing to marriage. She had finally settled for moving in with Stanley and living in his Upper East Side mansion. "I tell you one thing Starlene," he said looking down at her cleavage in the low cut tight sweater she was wearing. "I wish you'd have given me an opportunity to get to know you a little better before you went and posed for Playbody Magazine," he said realizing she was even more woman than he had ever imagined. "Well, I guess our timing was off Vinny." "I hope you'll excuse me for asking you something personal Starlene..." he said pausing as he stared at her voluptuous bosom. "What Vinny?" "Is that old man treating you right?" he asked referring to Stanley as his eyes glanced up to look into hers. "Yeah," she said smiling. "You're a lot of woman Starlene," he said as his eyes fell back on her cleavage and his big rough hands lightly touched her fingertips. "Thanks Vinny." "You sure a man of Stanley's advancin' age there can handle a woman like you?" he asked thinking about the fact he had a room upstairs in the hotel and the woman of his dreams beside him right now.
