Starlene asked as she watched her older lover close the door of his Upper East Side mansion. "Great. I have some news that I think you'll like," he said taking off his coat and hanging it on the coat rack. "What's that honey?" she said tossing her fashion magazine on the coffee table. "I might give you a party," he said taking a seat beside her on the sofa. "Really? Wow. That sounds great!" she said smiling broadly. "Yeah, I stopped by Clark's today and he really is hurting for business. I told him he could plan a little get together in your honor." "Oh how exciting. Was Tiffany there when you stopped by?" she asked referring to her sister. "Yeah, she was there and she seems excited about the idea." "I haven't talked to her today. I'm surprised she didn't call and tell me." "Well Clark sent her out on errands a few minutes after I arrived." "Oh. Who else was there?" "Nobody really," he lied thinking about Clark's wife Nicole and how she had only been wearing a T-shirt when she came downstairs. "You mean Nicole wasn't there?" "Well, yeah. She was there," Stanley said lighting his first cigarette in over a week. "I thought you had quit." "I have. I mean just a few here and there," Stanley said taking a long drag on the cigarette and feeling dizzy. "Did you and Nicole talk?" "No," he lied. "Well what was she doing when you were there?" "Aren't you more interested in the party I might give you?" "Might? I thought you said you were going to give me a party." "Yes. I am. Now why don't we get to the plans." "I don't like it that you were around Nicole." "Look Starlene, Clark's her husband and he was there. Nothing happened. Your sister Tiffany was there. Would you please just relax?" "I guess." "Do you want a party or not?" "Well sure," she said as the phone rang on the coffee table. "Morgan residence, this is Starlene," she answered. "Starlene. It's me. Did you know that Stanley is planning a party for you?" Tiffany asked. "Yes. I just found out," Starlene said. "I'm so glad because business has been so slow I was afraid that Clark would lay me off." "Good. I'm glad. How is everything else at work?" Starlene asked as Stanley got up from the sofa and walked into the kitchen. "The same," Tiffany said taking off her high heels and pushing them under the coffee table in her living room. "How did Nicole act when Stanley stopped by today?" Starlene asked in a whisper. "The same," Tiffany said remembering how Nicole looked sitting on the sofa in the skimpy T-shirt. When Clark was distracted she had crossed her legs slowly leaving nothing to Stanley's imagination as he stood in front of the sofa. "What? You mean she came on to him?" she asked as she heard Stanley putting ice into his glass. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
