Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday October 29th 2003 "I'm home," Skeeter called out at the front door of his wife's mansion on the Upper East Side. "Mister Skeeter," the housekeeper Ilona said walking into the living room to greet him. "Hey Ilona. How you doing Baby?" Skeeter asked grinning at the plump housekeeper. "Oh good for today," she said in her broken English as she dried her hands on her apron. "You're looking good too. When are you coming down to my new store and model some lingerie for me?" he asked jokingly. "Oh Mister Skeeter. You know I never look good in these how you say... bikini," she said as her face turned red. "I'll be the judge of that Ilona. I have some little thongs that I bet you'd love," he said grinning as his wife Jan came down the stairs. "Hey Baby," Skeeter said as Jan walked into the living room. "Hi Skeeter. How did it go with Amanda?" she said referring to the sales clerk she had hired to work in his new lingerie store. "Okay I guess," Skeeter said taking a seat on the sofa and putting his feet up on her antique coffee table. "Get your feet down Skeeter," Jan snapped taking a seat beside him on the sofa. She glanced towards the other side of the room and noticed her housekeeper watching them. "Get us a drink Ilona," Jan snapped as Ilona quickly left the room. "Did you close your deal at One Central Park?" "Yes. I made a lot of money today," Jan said proudly. "Then why don't we go out for supper?" Skeeter said in his slow southern accent leaning back on the sofa. "Ilona cooked. Besides I have paperwork to do tonight and Father will be calling soon," she said as Ilona walked into the room and placed a tray with drinks on the coffee table. "Thank you Ilona," Skeeter said. He winked at her as she straightened up and noticed him looking down her blouse at her full bosom. She blushed and walked out of the room grinning at the southerner. "Did you and Amanda work together?" "Yeah. She unpacked a lot of boxes and put price tags on some of the lingerie." "Well?" "I don't know Jan." "She's smart." "She wasn't dressed right for the store." "She looked professional in her suit." "If she were selling bank stocks or something," he said remembering the pinstriped pantsuit the sales clerk was wearing. "I liked the way she was dressed." "Well she did look a little better when she took off the jacket and rolled her sleeves up." "See she's not afraid to work." "She's not afraid of motorcycles either." "What does that mean?" "She had a motorcycle tattooed on her arm." "I didn't know that. But all the young girls have tattoos these days," Jan said thoughtfully. "Well, we'll see. I told her to dress down some tomorrow," he said. "She didn't make a pass at you or anything did she?" Jan asked watching him closely. "No, Jan," he said wondering how he'd get this new girl to look more the image he wanted for his new store. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
