Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday September 26th 2003 Skeeter quickly removed his arm from his ex-wife Tiffany's shoulders. She jumped up from the lingerie box she was sitting on in his new store. Skeeter had just arranged for his delivery men to stop unloading so that Tiffany's movers could unload her belongings into the new apartment above his soon to open lingerie store. "Skeeter! What's going on here?" Jan demanded as she slammed the front door and walked towards the back of the store her high heels echoing loudly on the hardwood floors. "Hey Baby," Skeeter said forcing a smile as he watched his wealthy wife walk towards them. "I asked what's going on here?" Jan repeated glancing back and forth between him and his ex-wife Tiffany. "Tiffany was just a little stressed out about the moving. It seems we have a conflict over the curbside. My delivery has taken too long and Tiffany's movers can't wait," he said. "Oh. That's what's going on?" Jan said suspiciously. "That's it." "That's not what that guy out there just told me," she said waving her arm towards the window as they all turned to see Tiffany's mattress being walked into the building doorway. "Well, that's what is going on Jan," Skeeter said hotly. "They told me that Tiffany came in here crying and you paid them to let her move in first," Jan said reciting the words of the trucker. "It's just a conflict of time Jan, that's all," he said. "So you stand around having Cokes and putting your arm around your ex-wife while they move her stuff in?" "Come on Jan," Skeeter said walking towards her and taking her arm. "It's already starting. I can see it," she said jerking her arm away from him. "Look Jan. Skeeter was nice enough to let my movers get my stuff in. That's all," Tiffany said taking another sip of her Coke. "Why are you standing around in my store then?" Jan snapped. "He only offered me a Coke Jan." "It's my store Jan," Skeeter said hotly. "Whatever. I just don't want to see this kind of thing starting up. Where is Starlene?" Jan asked referring to her father's lover and Tiffany's sister. "She's at Stanley's," he said referring to Jan's father. "I thought she agreed to work for me." "You? She'll be working for me Jan," Skeeter snapped. "Whatever! Where is she?" "She won't start until the store opens Jan," Skeeter said. "I think she should start now." "I don't know if Starlene will work here or not," Tiffany said. "I thought she said..." Skeeter said. "I don't like this. Why does my sister have to get pulled into the middle of this," Tiffany said. "She wants to do it," Skeeter replied. "I don't think so. I think she's only doing it for the modeling job you offered her and the newspaper advertisements," Tiffany said. "My father is convinced it's the best thing," Jan said. "Look it only makes a very troublesome situation worse. Let's leave Starlene out of this. Find another salesgirl", Tiffany said putting her empty Coke can on the box marked 'Ladies thongs.' "No! It's agreed. My father said it's okay with him if Starlene works here and it's what Skeeter and I have agreed to. You have no business in this store Tiffany Diamond. You aren't married to my husband anymore!" Jan screamed. They looked up to see a man walking towards them dressed in an expensive suit. "May I help you?" Skeeter asked. "I'm with the Manhattan Gossip Channel. I couldn't help but overhear some of this conversation. Are you aware of the fact that someone has filed a complaint over this store opening?" the man asked taking out a notepad and jotting down some notes. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
