Starlene called out as she opened the door to the apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. "In here," Tiffany called out as she turned off the vacuum cleaner and looked up to see her younger sister walking into the living room. "Did you get your job back today?" Starlene asked as she tossed her purse on the coffee table and took a seat on the sofa. "Yeah. I wanted to call you and tell you all about it but things really got hot at work," she said referring to the townhouse where she works. "What happened?" Starlene asked watching her sister take a seat on the sofa beside her. "Clark has lied to Nicole. He says that Alexis pursued him and that he never slept with her while Nicole was in Florida." "Typical man. But you know Nicole was never faithful to him and she did run off and leave him too," Starlene said remembering the past few months. "Well, it got worse. Clark went to the lawyer and it seems the partnership papers with Alexis that he signed while he was drunk are legal. It looks like Alexis got him drunk and took a partnership in his business." "Wow," Starlene said shaking her head. "Nicole hit the ceiling over that. She is determined that Alexis won't get a penny." "And she didn't even want Clark until she found out he'd seen someone else," Starlene said. "That's right. But I don't think she'll let him have a moments peace after all of this." "Poor Clark, he wanted her back, now it's be careful what you ask for, you might get it," Starlene said thoughtfully. "After that Clark went back to the lawyer's and Vinny came in," Tiffany said referring to Vinny that works for Nicole's mob boss father. "Oh really? Vinny's back in town?" Starlene asked remembering the heated passion she'd shared with him a few times when she was angry with her lover Stanley. "Yes, he says that he's moving back to New York with Nicole." "That didn't last long. Did he ask about me?" "Yes he did and I told him you were really happy with Stanley. I told him you'd moved into Stanley's house." "Good. I'm glad you told him that." "I hope he'll accept it." "He will." "I don't know. But I'm telling you to stay away from him Starlene. There's going to be trouble." "What kind of trouble?" "Alexis walked in while Vinny was there and a shouting match started. I think Vinny might see to it that Alexis is gone," Tiffany said her voice trailing off into a whisper. "You mean like, have her... ?" "I don't even want to utter the words. Just don't have anything to do with Vinny again. Okay?" "I won't. What about you, are you moving to the new apartment?" "I'm talking to Amir tonight. He's supposed to call and I'm going to tell him I found another apartment and I'm moving out." "Its about time Tiffany. Amir's always on his island. You need to move out of his apartment here. You need your own place so you can have freedom to see Brandon when he's in town," she said referring to the theater owner from California that Tiffany had been out with a few times. The phone rang on the coffee table and Tiffany picked it up. "Hello," she answered expecting it to be Amir. "Hey there Tiffany. Is your sister Starlene around?" Vinny asked. "No. She's not here Vinny," Tiffany said rolling her eyes at Starlene. "Do me a big favor and tell her I want to see her. By the way Tiffany, it would be best for you to erase the stuff you heard today in the office." "It's none of my business what happens between Nicole and Clark," Tiffany replied. "I took care of Alexis. Don't worry about it, okay? Tell Starlene I'll be seeing her soon," he said hanging up the phone. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
