Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday September 5th 2003 "I'm going back to the lawyer's office," Clark said as he walked towards the front door to leave. "Is everything okay Clark?" Tiffany asked after hearing the heated argument upstairs between Nicole and him. "It's as okay as it can be, I guess. I'm trying to straighten things out," he said picking up his briefcase and opening the door. "I know you're glad that Nicole is home," Tiffany said watching him closely. "I hope she'll soon calm down. Look I'll be back," he said opening the door and walking out into the bright sunshine. "Is he gone yet?" Nicole called out from upstairs. "Yes, he just left Nicole," Tiffany said watching through the window as Clark walked over the cobblestones with his eyes cast down deep in thought. She watched as he walked to the curb and hailed a cab. "Good. I'm glad he's gone. I hope he stays all day," Nicole called out as she rummaged through Clark's desk drawers. "Is there anything I can help you with Nicole?" "No. I'm just looking around to see what else he might have been up to while I was gone," Nicole said dumping a pile of papers on the floor. The front door of the townhouse opened and Vinny walked in wearing his sunglasses. "Hey there Tiffany. How ya doin'?" he asked as he walked towards her desk. "I'm fine. Did you came back from Florida to help Nicole get settled?" She asked referring to the fact that he works for Nicole's mob boss father in Florida. "I think I'm transferring here to New York," Vinny said as he straightened the gold chain on his neck. "Oh, really?" "Yeah. I like it here better. Nicole's father wants somebody to watch over her too. So I'm going to be staying for a while." "Oh," Tiffany said hoping he wouldn't pursue her younger sister Starlene again as he had in the past. "How's Starlene?" he asked taking a seat in the chair near Tiffany's desk. "Great. She moved in with Stanley," she said referring to Starlene's wealthy older lover. "That's a mistake there. He ain't plannin' to marry her." "I don't know." "Well, I do. I've seen types like him there. He's using her. He used Nicole too. Somebody's got to stop that old man," he said referring to Stanley Morgan. "Stanley's a nice guy," Tiffany said. They both turned to look towards the stairs as Nicole came down towards the living room. "Hey there Nicki," Vinny said. "Vinny, I've got some work for you," she said. "What's that?" "I've got to get rid of this Alexis woman," Nicole said frowning as she walked towards Tiffany's desk and stood in front of them. "I'll check her out and see what her story is," he said leaning back in the chair. "I want her whacked," Nicole said. "No need to talk this over in front of Tiffany there," he said turning to look at Tiffany. "She works for me now," Nicole said ignoring Vinny's plea to spare Tiffany of the details. "I'll talk to your Father today," Vinny said. "You're working for me too now Vinny. I told you I want that Alexis out of here permanently." "I'll make some coffee," Tiffany said getting up from her chair and starting towards the kitchen. "Right away Vinny. Today would be great. I don't care how you do it, just do it. I hate that woman," Nicole said picking up Clark's business card from the desk and tearing it into small pieces. "I want her gone, wiped out. Like this," she said throwing the pieces of the business card on the floor and stepping on them grinding her heels in. The front door of the townhouse opened and Alexis walked in closing the door behind her. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
