Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday September 4th 2003 "Hi Tiffany," Clark said as he closed the door of his townhouse. "Hi Clark. Nicole and I were just talking. It's good to see you," Tiffany said watching him closely as he walked into the living room. "Did you get everything straightened out?" Nicole asked referring to the partnership he'd signed with Alexis when he'd been drinking. "I don't know," he said putting his briefcase on the floor and walking towards his wife. "What do you mean you don't know?" Nicole snapped. "I hope so," he said. "I want to know right now. Is it straight or not," Nicole said eyeing him as he walked towards her and attempted to kiss her on the cheek. "The lawyer said that the papers look legal and he doesn't know of anything I can do but buy her out," he said referring to Alexis. "Buy her out! Is he crazy?" Nicole asked jumping up from the sofa and walking towards her husband. "He said he'd call me this afternoon after he'd checked into it." "No! That's not good enough. I won't see you giving her any money, not one penny," Nicole said. "Tiffany I'm sorry. I don't think I can talk over your employment today," Clark said turning to look at Tiffany. "I've already reinstated Tiffany," Nicole snapped. "But I thought we were going to talk it over." "It's done. Tiffany get busy with the past due accounts while Clark and I talk over this business," Nicole said jumping up from the chair and starting towards the stairs. "Is that okay with you Clark?" Tiffany asked still unsure of her status as his secretary. "If that's what Nicole decided," he said following his wife up the stairs. Tiffany watched as they walked up the stairs. When she heard their footsteps on the floor in his office she quickly got up and walked to the stairs to eavesdrop. "What did the lawyer say?" Nicole demanded. "Just what I said. That the partnership papers that I signed looked legal." "Did you tell him that she got you drunk before you signed them?" "Yeah." "Well, what did he say about that?" "It's 'he said, she said.'" "So it doesn't matter then?" "I guess. He said he'd check into it some more." "It sounds like she has a right to your business then," Nicole said pacing the floor of his office. "It does look that way," Clark admitted. "Stupid, stupid, stupid," Nicole said. "I'm sorry Nicki." "Sorry? What good will that do now?" "I'll try to make it up to you." "Did you sleep with her Clark?" "No. I told you a hundred times I was drunk when I signed the papers," he lied for the hundredth time. "And the blender she had brought over here? Are you sure she wasn't moving in with you and I came home and messed up your plans." "No. Nothing like that. She just likes to cook." "And what about the fact that she was half dressed when I caught you together? Huh, huh?" Nicole screamed. "I told you she's the aggressor," he said. "I want her out of here. Out of New York, out of our life," Nicole screamed. "I'm trying Honey." "I'm taking care of it Clark," Nicole said suddenly calm. "What?" "You heard me. I've been talking to my Father about her today. She's history," Nicole said referring to her mob boss Father in Florida. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
