Tiffany called out when she heard the front door shut of their apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. "Yeah it's me," Starlene called out as Stanley followed her into the hallway. "Did you meet the mayor?" Tiffany asked as she heard Starlene in the hallway turning the dead bolt on the front door. "I didn't see you on the gossip shows," she said laughing as she thought about her sister's ambition to meet the mayor and leave her lover Stanley. "Yes she met the mayor," Stanley said as they walked into the living room. He quickly noticed Tiffany pulling down her short nightgown to cover her shapely legs as she sat on the sofa watching TV. "Oh I didn't know you were with her Stanley," Tiffany said watching the couple walk into the living room and take a seat nearby. "Stanley really surprised me," Starlene said taking a seat in a nearby chair and kicking off her high heels. "I thought you were in Washington at a gala," Tiffany said remembering Starlene's excitement over getting to go to the party at Gracie Mansion alone. She had hoped to meet the billionaire mayor of the city and start a romantic relationship with him. "I canceled the trip at the last minute," Stanley said picking up the decanter of wine on the coffee table and pouring him a drink. "I bet you were surprised weren't you Starlene?" Tiffany asked raising her eyebrows as she glanced at her sister. "Oh yeah. I was shocked all right. I was standing on the lawn of Gracie Mansion trying to see if I could spot the mayor when I felt a man's hand on my rear." "What did you do?" Tiffany asked looking at the low cut white sundress her sister was wearing. "She turned around and smiled," Stanley said laughing as he remembered the look on Starlene's face when she saw him. "Well I knew it was you," she lied. "I think she thought it was the mayor," he said laughing. "It's not funny. You told me you'd be in Washington and I was going to the party alone. I even spent money on a limo," she said hotly. "Sorry. Sorry I messed up your plans," he said annoyed. "Well, how was the party?" Tiffany asked. "It was great. I finally got to see the mayor and shake hands with him but there were so many people there I didn't get to really know him," she said shrugging her shoulders. "I think Starlene is trying to replace me," Stanley said knowingly. "I am not," she lied. "Looks that way." "Oh please. If you're so worried about me replacing you then make yourself irreplaceable." "I want to honey," he said taking a long sip of his wine. "You can do whatever you really want to Stanley. We've been engaged for a long time and you haven't made any attempt to set the wedding date." "Oh Starlene," he said emptying the decanter of wine. "Do you have any more wine?" he asked. "Yes Stanley, I'll get you some wine," she said annoyed as she got up out of the chair and walked barefoot into the kitchen. "What should I do Tiffany?" he asked glancing at Tiffany with a look of serious concern. "Do you want to marry her?" "One day," he said. "She won't wait Stanley." "Then I'll have to make some changes," he said lighting his first cigarette in a week. "What kind of changes?" Tiffany asked. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
