Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday July 7th 2003 "Look Tiffany, Vinny and I can go somewhere else and let you and Amir have the apartment tonight," Starlene said handing Vinny a glass of wine and taking a seat on the sofa beside him. "No. I'll call Amir and we can go somewhere," she said reaching for the cell phone on the coffee table of their apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. They all glanced towards the front door when they heard the doorbell. "Looks like it's a couples kind of evenin'," Vinny said as Starlene took a seat beside him on the sofa. "I'll get the door," Tiffany said walking past Starlene and Vinny towards the front door. "Looks like we're interfering here in your sister's plans for the evening," Vinny said smiling. He put his masculine arm on the back of the sofa and glanced down the low cut sweater Starlene was wearing. "Oh, it's okay. They'll probably leave and go to Amir's house." "We could always go over to my room at the Washington Square Hotel," he suggested anxious to be alone with her. "Let's see how it goes here," Starlene said as she heard Tiffany walking back into the living room. "I'm going with Amir to dinner," Tiffany said rushing to pick up her purse from the table near the sofa. "Isn't Amir coming in?" Starlene asked. "No, he's waiting at the door. The limo is double-parked. I'll see you later Starlene," Tiffany said eyeing her sister with a worried look on her face. "Okay, have fun with Amir," Starlene said. "You behave yourself Starlene," Tiffany said noticing that Vinny's eyes were fixed on Starlene's bosom in the low cut summer sweater. "Oh don't worry about me," Starlene said smiling and turning her attention towards Vinny. "Bye there Tiffany," Vinny said glancing up and waving towards her as she rushed to the front door. Starlene took a sip of her wine as they heard the front door close. "She's been seeing that Amir guy a long time," Vinny said as he adjusted the gold diamond studded coin on his neck. "Yeah, but now his wife is dead so she might be getting somewhere with this," Starlene said. "Did she know he was married when she started seeing him?" he asked taking a sip of his wine. "No. His wife had been in a coma for so many years, he didn't feel married I guess." "He still should have told her," he said. "I guess so, but it looks like they're going to have their chance at a real relationship finally." "I'm glad we're going to have our chance for a real relationship too," he said pulling her closer to him. "Is that what you want Vinny? A relationship?" "Yeah, a relationship with you." "What kind of relationship?" she asked as she felt his hand slip under the back of her sweater. "I'm a one woman kind of man," he said kissing her cheek as his fingers searched for the clasp of her lingerie. "I like that," she said noticing the strength in his arms as he pulled her closer. "You and me's are going to have a good thing," he said as the clasp released and he touched her soft warm skin. "How good Vinny?" she whispered. "As good as it gets Starlene." "You mean a serious relationship?" "As serious as it gets." "Like marriage or something?" "If you want that, I'm ready," he said as his lips met hers. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
