Setting: David Rockwell; "Fiddler on the Roof" originally opened September 22nd 1964 at the Imperial Theater under Harold Prince, directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins, with Zero Mostel heading the cast.

Born in Kiev in 1898, Golda Meir was the world's third female Prime Minister. She became Israel's Prime Minister in 1969, after a lifetime of works in the Histradut Trade Union, the Jewish Agency, as Israel's Ambassador to the Soviet Union, a member of the Knesset, Israel's Foreign Minister, and as Secretary General of the newly formed Labor Party.
