4 swordfish steaks, sized to suit appetites
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon pepper

Cut off any fat from the steaks.  In a shallow pan, make a marinade of the olive oil, soy sauce or tamari, lemon juice, and pepper.  Soak swordfish steaks in the marinade, spooning liquid over tops of steaks.  Cover and refrigerate at least one hour;  Preheat the broiler. Spray broiler pan with non-stick oil.  Place swordfish on upper oven rack under broiler, leaving oven door tipped open. When browned, turn steaks, baste with marinade, and broil on second side.  Swordfish steaks serve 4.
