Starlene called out as she opened the door to the townhouse where her sister worked. "I'm in here," Tiffany said walking out of the kitchen carrying a glass of Diet Coke. "You aren't going to believe it Tiffany," Starlene said wiping the perspiration from her forehead as she walked quickly towards her sister's desk taking a seat in a nearby chair. "What's the matter honey? You look like you've seen a ghost," Tiffany said taking a seat and staring at her sister. "I ran into Vinny outside," Starlene said referring to Nicole's mob boss father's associate from Florida. "Yeah. He came here to help Nicole leave Clark and get the divorce." "I know, I know." "Was there trouble out there?" Tiffany said starting to get out of her chair to go look out of the window. "I don't think so. I saw the limo pull off and Clark walked towards the café on the corner. "Then what's the matter Starlene?" "It's what Vinny implied." "What?" "He implied that Stanley is still seeing Nicole and that's why she's leaving Clark," she said taking a long deep breath. "No?" "Yeah. He all but said that. The sun was in my eyes and he thought I was crying and that's when he let it slip." "Oh no." "Yeah. I could kill Stanley Morgan!" she said visualizing her wealthy older lover. "You might not have to," Tiffany said with a grim look on her face. "Well it would serve him right if Nicole's Father kills him," Starlene said realizing that Tiffany thought Nicole's mob boss father would surely kill her lover now. He had warned Stanley in the past that he better not ever hear of him seeing his young daughter again after the affair they had. "Starlene if this is true it could be very serious for Stanley," Tiffany said. "I don't care. I just don't care," she cried getting up from the chair and starting to pace across the living room. "But Starlene what about the fact we heard Nicole call Skeeter right after she told Clark she was leaving?" she said referring to the eavesdropping they had done when they heard Nicole telephone Tiffany's ex-husband Skeeter. They knew the two had been secretly seeing each other by the conversation they heard. "Jan will kill Skeeter," Starlene said referring to Skeeter's new bride. "What a mess this is," Tiffany said taking a sip of her Diet Coke as she watched Starlene pace the floor. "What should I do Tiffany?" "Well, I don't know. I only know what I might do if I were you," Tiffany said thoughtfully. "Tell me," she said as she paced. "Well, I wouldn't let Stanley keep stringing me along like this. I mean you're engaged and he promised to marry you as soon as Jan was married." "That's right," Starlene said stopping to look at Tiffany with a look of determination on her face. "Then he has to do something or get off the pot, so to speak," Tiffany said in her southern accent. "You mean an ultimatum?" "Yeah." "I've tried that and it didn't work," she said throwing her hands down to her side in desperation. "Then tell him you'll start seeing other people if he doesn't marry you. That might work," Tiffany said. "You're right! You're absolutely right Tiffany," she said putting her hands on her shapely hips and smiling. She thought about the card that Vinny had just given her with his phone number. He told her to call anytime. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
