Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday June 16th 2003 "I'm going to miss you when you move to Florida Baby," Skeeter said unbuttoning Nicole's blouse as he kissed her on the neck. "Skeeter I just told Daddy that so he'd get rid of Clark for me," she said. "So you're going to stay in New York after you divorce Clark?" he asked quickly looking into her eyes. "Maybe. If Clark leaves me alone so I can enjoy my life," she said glancing out of the window of her room in the Plaza Hotel and noticing the sun was setting. "You think he'll come over here?" Skeeter asked referring to the unexpected phone call from her husband a few minutes ago. "Maybe," she said starting to worry about how upset Clark had sounded on the phone. "Okay, I guess I better just go then. Now that I know you aren't running off to Florida anytime soon I guess I can wait," he said kissing her on the cheek as he buttoned his shirt. "Yeah, that's probably the best thing to do. I can't believe he guessed I was here. I wonder if Tiffany told him?" she said referring to Skeeter's ex-wife and her husband's secretary. "Did Tiffany know you were coming here?" he asked quickly pouring himself another Bourbon before leaving. "Yeah, she made the reservation." "Well, that explains it. Next time you make the reservation." "Yeah. I guess so. I would love to fire Tiffany for this," she said angry that her evening was ruined. "Look Baby don't be too hard on Tiffany. She's been through a lot lately with me marrying Jan and all," he said walking towards the door to leave. "Don't worry about Tiffany, Skeeter," she said smiling. "Why?" "She's got Amir. His wife died and she's got Brandon Douglas too. That little ex-wife of yours isn't lonely honey," she said watching him closely. "And they're both very wealthy men too," she said feeling the jealousy creep over her. "I can't believe Tiffany's doing stuff like this," he said filled with resentment. "Don't worry about it Skeeter. Look you better go, it's been a while since Clark called and he just might come by," she said walking him to the door to leave. "Stay sweet Baby. We'll finish this soon," he said as she opened the front door of the room for him to leave. "Maybe your apartment one day for lunch," she said buttoning her blouse as she watched him walk out of the room. "I'm hungry already Baby," he said walking to the elevator and hitting the button to go down. "See ya Skeeter," she said blowing him a kiss as he stepped into the elevator. The door closed behind him. Skeeter watched as the numbers on the elevator declined to the lobby. The doors opened and he stepped out. He walked past the huge vase of flowers and noticed a nice looking couple checking into the hotel. He wondered if they were married or if this guy was lucky tonight when he heard her voice behind him. "Skeeter!" Jan called out as her high heels sounded on the marble floor. Skeeter's heart skipped a beat as he turned to see his wife rushing towards him in the lobby of the Plaza Hotel wearing a designer suit and an angry frown. "Hey Baby," he said forcing a smile. "Where is she?" Jan snapped grabbing him by the arm. Skeeter could feel his face burning when he saw the couple at the check-in turn to look at him. "Who Baby? What ya talking about?" he asked in his slow southern accent putting his arm around her waist and smiling. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
