Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday May 27th 2003 "Mr. Morgan is in the living room," the housekeeper said as she held the front door open. Starlene walked into the lobby of Stanley's Upper East Side mansion. "Thanks," Starlene said walking past the housekeeper into the elegantly furnished living room to see Stanley sitting on the sofa staring into space. "Hi honey," Starlene said walking towards the sofa. "Oh hello Starlene. What are you doing here?" Stanley asked coming to his feet to give his young girlfriend a kiss on the cheek. "Stanley, its Tuesday. I always come over on Tuesdays," Starlene said referring to their regular scheduled morning for intimacy. She looked at him again wondering if he was beginning to suffer from dementia. "Oh yes," he said noticing her low cut sweater and voluptuous bosom. "You didn't forget to get your prescription filled did you?" she asked wondering what the morning had in store for her. "Oh no. I have the pills. It's not that," he said patting the sofa for her to take a seat beside him. "You look tired Stanley. Are you alright?" she said taking a seat beside him as her skirt rose up high on her thighs. "Exhausted," he said glancing down at her bare legs. "What's the matter?" "Skeeter," Stanley said putting his arm around her and peering down the sweater. "What has my ex-brother-in-law done now?" Starlene said laughing. "He and Jan spent their first night over here last night." "Oh, he's moving in on the Morgan territory," she said thinking about how impressed Skeeter was with the wealthy Morgan family. "He's moved in alright. He kept me up all night with their noise," Stanley said disgusted with the thought. "I bet she's happy," Starlene said laughing as she thought about his straight-laced society daughter. "I just hope happy is all she is. The way he carried on... I wish they would annul this silly union." "Stanley they aren't going to annul the marriage. Are you crazy?" "Why would she marry someone like him?" "Stanley, if you don't mind my saying so... "Starlene said stopping herself when she noticed the pain on his face. "Go ahead. Tell me what you think of this marriage." "I think Skeeter is a really good looking man and all of the women like him. My sister loved him so much," Starlene said referring to her older sister Tiffany that was married to Skeeter until recently. "Why? He's so classless. He's crass... he's awful." "He's sexy Stanley. Men don't have the copyright on liking someone appealing." "Wonder if she would leave him if I found someone more suitable?" "No. She's married to him now. You have to accept this." "I guess. Well, maybe she'll catch him cheating or something and get a divorce," Stanley said thoughtfully. "That might happen knowing Skeeter. That's probably the only way you'll get rid of him. But he's pretty smart." "Did he cheat on Tiffany when they were married?" "Well, you won't tell her... ?" "Of course not honey," he said. "Yeah, he cheated. He told me about several affairs, one with her best friend Brenda." "Did you tell Tiffany about it?" "No. I wouldn't want to hurt my sister. Besides she caught on and started suspecting he couldn't be trusted around other women." "Did he ever try anything with you?" Stanley asked eyeing her voluptuous bosom in the low cut sweater.
