CASTING! BECOME A STAR ON THIS INTERACTIVE SOAP OPERA. SEND YOUR PHOTO, CLICK FOR DETAILS! Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday May 15th 2003 "James you know I think I've changed my mind about attending this luncheon", Jan said watching her limo driver nod and close the door. He walked back around the long white car as Jan watched a beautiful woman she hated walking into the luncheon she had planned to attend. The limo driver closed the door on the driver's side and turned around to look at his employer for further directions. "Just take me to Skeeter's apartment on Bleecker Street," she said thinking about her husband packing up his clothes today to move in with her. "Yes Ms. Morgan. As soon as I can get out of here," the driver said as the Secret Service lined Park Avenue watching as a dignitary passed by. Jan thought about calling Skeeter to tell him that she was coming by to help him pack but quickly decided to surprise him. Besides she knew that checking up on Skeeter was probably the right thing until she had established more trust in the marriage. She quickly took out her cell phone and dialed her Father's office instead. "Mr. Morgan's office," the secretary answered. "Put Father on the phone," Jan snapped visualizing the pretty young woman that worked for her wealthy Father. "Hello Jan," Stanley answered as he turned the page in his new issue of Playbody Magazine. "Father what are you doing tonight for dinner?" "I'm not sure," he said noticing that his ex-girlfriend Laney had a small picture in the new issue. Through his connections with the publisher he'd helped her get a start posing years ago. She then went on to B movies in Hollywood. Now his new girlfriend Starlene was hoping for the same assistance from him. "Then why don't we have dinner?" Jan asked as the car slowly pulled out into the traffic on Park Avenue. "Well, I usually see Starlene on Thursday nights." "When are you going to find someone more suitable than that little hillbilly," Jan said disgusted. "Starlene is Skeeter's ex-sister-in-law. What makes you feel so superior? You just married a lingerie salesman," Stanley said closing the magazine and putting it in his desk drawer when he saw his secretary walking towards his office with the mail. "I'm married Father. It seems you would be delighted. You didn't even have to walk down the aisle. Skeeter and I saved you the humiliation and went to Las Vegas." "Yes, I'm glad you didn't make a big fuss over this. Why don't you have it annulled before it's too late." "Stop it. I won't put up with you talking about my marriage this way. I want us to all have dinner together like a family," she said as the car turned towards Greenwich Village. "I don't know," Stanley said dreading the thought of being in Skeeter's company after offering him money if he'd call off the big wedding. "I insist Father." "Alright. But you can't expect me to like him though." "Just try. Skeeter's really putting forth an effort to be a good husband. I want to see you at least put forth some effort too." "Alright. Would you like for me to invite Starlene?" Stanley asked jokingly. He glanced up when his secretary put the mail on his desk. She smiled broadly as she thought about her friend Starlene. "Of course you're kidding?" Jan asked her voice filled with scorn. "Not really. Starlene wants to get married too. What's the difference," Stanley asked noticing that his secretary was listening. "There's a lot of difference and you know it." "Don't worry. I wouldn't commit to anything foolish, like marriage," Stanley said. His secretary walked towards the office door to leave, her smile fading as she realized her boss wasn't being entirely honest with her friend Starlene. "I'll see you tonight Father and be polite," Jan said as the car made it's way down Fifth Avenue towards the arches of Washington Square Park. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
