Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday April 7th 2003 Clark glanced at the clock to see if Tiffany was late coming in this morning. He rushed towards her desk to answer the ringing phone. "Manhattan Party Planning," he answered never tiring of the name he'd chosen for his business years ago. "Is Tiffany Diamond in today?" a man asked. "Tiffany stepped out for a few minutes. Would you like to leave a message?" Clark asked. "Yes please tell her that Brandon Douglas called from Los Angeles. I'll call her later." "Oh Mr. Douglas! It's a pleasure to speak to you," Clark said taking a seat at Tiffany's desk as his heart raced. "Well, thank you," Brandon said unsure what to say. "Oh. I'm Tiffany's boss, Clark Masters. I own Manhattan Party Planning," Clark said wondering if he should go into a sales pitch immediately. "Yes, I met your lovely wife Nicole at the Sardi's party", Brandon said remembering how Nicole had openly flirted with him. He wondered if Clark knew that Nicole led men to believe that the business was hers and that she was single. Clark glanced up to see Nicole walking down the stairs into the living room with a frown on her face. "I came by your office and picked up the brochures while you and your wife were in Florida. I'll be passing them on to my publicity people and perhaps we can use your business for some upcoming parties." "Oh. That's great. I didn't know you came by," Clark said wishing he'd been home to sell him on his party planning services. "Yes, Tiffany took very good care of everything." "She did?" "Yes. If you would just tell her I called please." "Is there something I can help you with?" "Oh no. It was a personal call for Tiffany. I'll have to get her home number so I don't disrupt her at work." "Oh that's okay, call anytime." "Nice talking with you. Goodbye," Brandon said hanging up the phone. "Wow!" Clark said hanging up the phone and putting his feet on Tiffany's desk. "Wow what?" Nicole asked suspiciously. "That was Brandon Douglas." "Oh. I was going to call him later today." "You don't need to," Clark said smiling broadly. "Well, I want to give him some brochures and stuff," Nicole said thinking about her plan to go to lunch with Brandon and hopefully start a relationship. "He's already got them. Sounds like our little Tiffany did a good job while we were in Florida," Clark said thinking about the potential income from a client like Brandon. "What are you talking about?" Nicole asked angrily. "Well, Brandon said he has the brochures. He stopped by while we were gone and Tiffany gave them to him." "Oh, okay," she said disappointed. "Sounds like maybe she gave him a little more too," Clark said picking a piece of lint from his trousers. "Stop playing silly games Clark Masters. What the hell are you talking about?" Nicole asked angry that Tiffany might have captured the affections of the wealthy young millionaire. "He's going to get her home number, so he won't bother her at work. A man doesn't say that unless he's got something more than business in mind," Clark said pleased. "Hi," Tiffany said opening the front door and noticing the cold stare on Nicole's face as she walked into the entrance hall. "Did you have a good time in Florida?" Tiffany asked smiling as she closed the door. "We heard that you had a real good time here," Clark said taking his feet from her desk and getting up to walk across the living room. "Take a seat Tiffany," Nicole said standing in front of Tiffany's desk and pointing towards the chair. "Sure," Tiffany said walking to her desk and taking a seat. "I think we've got to get some things straightened out once and for all," Nicole said glaring down at Tiffany. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
