Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday April 4th 2003 "Skeeter would you be a darling and make me a drink?" Jan said as she adjusted the water in the shower of her Upper East Side mansion. "Okay," Skeeter said getting out of her bed and picking up his briefs from the chair. He walked towards the stairs to go down when he heard Jan's voice over the water "Dum dum de dum" humming the wedding march. "Oh, God," he said out loud as he descended the stairs. He walked towards the kitchen and saw Jan's heavyset housekeeper at the sink washing vegetables. He knew she didn't hear his bare feet as he walked towards her. He walked up close to her back and put his arms around her waist. "Oh!" she said turning around quickly; her eyes immediately fixed on his masculine bare chest. "I'm sorry Ilona, I couldn't help myself", he said backing up and taking a seat on the barstool next to her. "You scare me Mr. Skeeter," she said in her broken English. "I like watching you jump Ilona. It turns me on," he said picking up a carrot from the counter and taking a bite. "Mr. Skeeter!" She said feeling her face burn as she struggled to keep her eyes off his briefs. "What are you making Ilona?" "Miss Jan ask me to make Antipasto." "And... Miss Jan ask me to get her drink," he said mocking the plump housekeeper. "I make for you," she said drying her hands and walking across the kitchen to open the cabinet. "You want too?" she asked glancing back towards the handsome southerner. "Yeah, you know what I like don't you Ilona?" he asked in his sexiest voice. "Yes, Mr. Skeeter. Bourbon and water you drink," she said pouring his drink and walking towards him. "Thanks Ilona. Jan's really lucky to have you," he said taking a sip of his drink. "Soon you have me too," she said. "Oh? Really?" How's that? Am I going to get lucky again today?" he said smiling as he wondered how much she heard since Jan's bedroom was over the kitchen. "No. Not this way, I say. I say I work for you soon, when you and Miss Jan marry," she said her face reddening as she remembered the sounds from the bedroom only a few minutes ago. "Oh that," Skeeter said the smile leaving his face. "You happy, no?" "No." "No happy? You marry Miss Jan?' "Huh," Skeeter said taking a long sip of his drink and placing the glass on the counter. "But you love her, no?" "I don't know." "Maybe this not my place to know." "You'll be living with us." "But wedding is soon, no?" "I don't think so. I think I still have some time," he said wondering how he was going to get out of the wedding. "Oh. I see," she said as Jan walked into the kitchen in a long white silk robe. "How do you like my new robe?" Jan asked turning around quickly to model for Skeeter. "Nice," he said. "Good. I was thinking about going with a long gown for the wedding after all," she said walking towards the counter and picking up a carrot. "Gown?" Skeeter asked. "Yeah, for the wedding. I have to give them an answer today. We don't have much time left now before our wedding," Jan said picking up her drink. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
