Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday April 3rd 2003 "Stanley agreed to set the date for the wedding," Starlene said watching Tiffany lean back in the chair in the living room of their apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. "I don't want to spoil your excitement Starlene, but Stanley has agreed to set the wedding date a few times," Tiffany said kicking off her high heels. "I know that but he set the date to set the date," Starlene said taking a sip of her Diet Coke and placing the glass back on the coffee table. "Okay, then when?" "As soon as this thing with Jan is over," Starlene said referring to Stanley's daughter. "Jan! You mean as soon as my husband marries his daughter?" "Ex husband Tiffany. You and Skeeter are divorced now." "I don't like this. I don't like this at all. Do you mean to tell me that Stanley is supporting the marriage of Jan and Skeeter?" "No, not really. But the way I look at it is this... the engagement announcement said they would get married in the spring. That means Stanley can't make me wait but another few months to set the date." "Oh, I see what you mean. But still this means that Skeeter will be marrying Jan," Tiffany said feeling the tears coming to her eyes. "Come on Tiffany. Don't be so selfish. You just came back from lunch with Brandon Douglas one of the wealthiest, best looking men in the world. You've got Amir Hada that wants to be with you so bad he probably killed his wife for you," Starlene said. "That's mean." "I'm sorry. But look if Amir's missing wife is never found you've already found yourself another guy. Brandon is so good looking and he's opening a Broadway theatre," Starlene said hoping her jealousy wasn't showing. "Yeah, you're right I guess. I have to let Skeeter go," Tiffany said taking a deep breath. "What would you want with Skeeter now that you've got Brandon. If you don't want Brandon then give me a shot at him," Starlene said watching Tiffany's reaction closely. "No way. I really do like him." "I like him too. Well, if you're going to keep him can you at least get him to find me a part in a Broadway play?" "It's early in the relationship to ask for something like that." "Oh so you are calling it a relationship! Did he kiss you after lunch today?" Starlene said leaning forward on the sofa and eyeing her sister suspiciously. "No Starlene. He left the Palm Room and his limo took him straight for the airport," Tiffany said laughing. "The Palm Room of the Plaza Hotel, did you…? " Starlene said pausing when the phone rang. "No we didn't get a room," Tiffany said as she watched Starlene looking at the caller ID. "Who is it?" "Brandon Douglas," Starlene said her eyes widening as she handed the phone to Tiffany. "Hello," Tiffany said careful to sound casual. "Tiffany. I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed lunch with you today," Brandon said as the stewardess handed him his drink. "Me too," Tiffany said glanced up to see Starlene eagerly listening and watching. "I hope we'll spend more time together the next time I'm in town," he said as the stewardess smiled at him. "That would be nice. When do you think that will be?" "I have some appointments to take care of in LA. I'll make arrangements to come back really soon. I just wanted to ask you... " he said hesitating. "What?" "I won't have to share you with Amir will I?" "No," Tiffany said feeling a pang of guilt immediately. "Good, I'll be back right way. I can't wait." "Me too," Tiffany said feeling weak from her head to her toes. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
