Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday March 27th 2003 The front door of the townhouse opened and the Broadway theatre owner, Brandon Douglas walked in closing the door behind him. Starlene slyly pulled her short skirt up a little and pressed her heavily glossed lips together as she took her first look at the handsome young millionaire. "Hello Tiffany," Brandon said walking towards Tiffany's desk. "Hi Brandon," Tiffany said getting out of her seat and walking towards him. Starlene quickly walked towards her sister's side and cleared her throat for attention. "Brandon this is my little sister Starlene," Tiffany said feeling Starlene's fingers stabbing her in the back at the word 'little'. "Well, so nice to meet you Starlene," he said smiling as Starlene took her place beside Tiffany. "I'm sure the pleasure is all mine," Starlene said in her southern accent as she extended her hand. "I've never heard the name Starlene before. It's very unusual. Do you know why you were named Starlene?" he asked noticing the low cut tight sweater she was wearing. "I guess my parents knew I'd be a star one day," she said as she curled a strand of her long blonde hair around her finger. "You have experience in the theatre?" he asked trying to keep his eyes off of her voluptuous bosom. "Yes," she said hoping he would accept that as a sufficient answer to cast her into one of his shows. "What kind of experience?" "Oh, just some stuff in Georgia," she said glancing towards Tiffany hoping for some assistance. "Yes, I hear that accent. Both of you ladies have such nice southern accents," he said glancing towards Tiffany. "I'm glad you like it," Starlene said. "Do you have any parts for southern woman like me?" "Well, I don't know. What kind of part would you be interested in?" "Oh I don't care too much. Something that uses my abilities to the fullest extent," she said putting her hand on her hips and throwing her shoulders back. "Honestly Starlene. Brandon just stopped by to pick up some brochures and you're bothering him," Tiffany said embarrassed by her sister's forwardness. "Oh, that's okay. I'm used to it." "See, he doesn't mind Tiffany. Why don't you get him the brochures," Starlene said frowning at her sister. "Yes, I should find them for you," Tiffany said. "I'll have to run upstairs to Clark's office. Have a seat I'll be right back," Tiffany said as she walked towards the stairs. "Starlene why don't you offer Brandon some coffee," Tiffany said stopping on the stairs to watch her sister and the handsome millionaire taking a seat on the sofa in the living room. "Okay, don't worry I'll entertain Mr. Douglas," Starlene said sitting beside him and allowing her short skirt to rise up high on her shapely legs. "You want some coffee?" she asked. "No thanks and Starlene you can call me Brandon," he said watching her closely. "Okay Brandon. Do you live in New York?" "No. I live in LA but I might be moving here soon." "Oh really. How soon?" "Once the theater opens I might decide to move here. I love New York," he said trying hard not to stare at her legs as she crossed them in the short skirt. "Does Mrs. Douglas love New York too?" "There is no Mrs. Douglas," he said smiling. "Oh. I see. Do you have a girlfriend in New York?" "Not yet," he said as the front door of the townhouse opened. CONTINUED TOMORROW.
